In his experience working for an organization with some staff turnover that often uses student workers, what is most important in software is ease of use. While it does sacrifice some features, he believes the best software is one that is simple to teach and easy to operate.

• Make up a card or set of instructions to help teach the software to new workers, as it will improve teaching time and reduce mistakes.
